| I Liked: The food and the atmosphere |
| I didn't like: It was a hot day and with just fans keeping the place cool, it was still very warm. It didn't ruin our time though. |
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere
This is exactly the restaurant you would assume to see along a boardwalk. The food was fresh and fantastic. I was under the impression it was more of a chicken strips and home cooking type of dinner, but was please with the selections of sandwiches, melts, burgers and salads. It was very clean and the service was impeccable. The average cost was $7-$10 for a plate which is reasonable in today's economy. I would most likely return here to eat again. Thursday is a great day to go because they have the farmers market right across the street from 9am until crowds lessen.

Great Food Everytime
I ordered the chimichanga, not too greasy - it was DELICIOUS!! My husband ordered chicken fried steak and said it was great!! This was my 3rd visit to Longboarder Cafe and I have yet to be disapointed!

| I Liked: Wait staff, food, speed of service |
| I didn't like: Bathrooms (but I don't eat in there, do i?) |
Great family restaurant
I found the negative reviews appalling! I've eaten here with my family every time we visit Oceanside from North Carolina. We have NEVER had bad service, and the staff was very accomodating, even during busy hours! The ONE negative is that the bathroom is in need of a good scrubbing, but at least the staff/owners have fun with this by painting funny slogans like "Aroma Aversion Therapy Center" in the bathroom. I found it a great place, and will eat there again. Highly recommended!

Owner is a jerk
The owner is such a jerk. The food is decent but why would you support someone who has such an attitude? There are sooooo many other places I can go that appreciate their patrons. I do not know if this is a new owner. I used to go there all the time when they were by Surfride. Is he on steriods? Go anywhere else.

The owner of the restaurant is a Lady with five children and a husband who is a Police Officer and a Marine Reservist. The person who is referenced on being on steroids was just a waiter and was personally fired by the owner for unsatisfactory customer service. We maintain and monitor our employees. We apologize and hope that you will return.

| I Liked: the amount of food for the proce |
| I didn't like: the long waiting time for a table |
great for relaxing
I love the food and the amount of food you get for the price. I had a avo melt sandiwch with a side of potato salad and fries. The total with drink and tax was 10.00 It's a great place just to sit and relax. The kids enjoy the menu too. They offer 2.00 beers on certain summer nights.
