WORST BAR FOR DRINKS IN OSIDE
I have been frequenting this bar over the last 4 years and since last year it has turned into a place you can get what ever you want. Not only is the customer trying to sell me cocaine, but I hear a pregnant bartender talking to another customer about growing marijuana in her house and selling it. But the bar was packed and it was fun to people watch.

Gone Downhill & Unsafe
Not from the area but I drive down to Oceanside from Temecula on occasion to go drinking with military buddies. I've patronized this place 3 times and am NOT impressed. It's dark, it's not warm, the clientele are sleazy, and one of the bouncers was not trustworthy. I much rather the Haunted Head Saloon.. it was a warmer environment.

CHANGED FOR THE WORSE
I was not happy about walking into the Ozone/rusty spur what the heck ever it is called now!
Whiskey barrel or something like that!
it was the only place in Oceanside that felt like a "family" place!
Then they go and make it twisted again!
TO A COUNTRY TYPE BAR!
There is Hay on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to go dancing and listen to some good music get some good drinks, forget it, don't go there if want service.........unless you want a really expensive

served by a very stuck up, rude, down right mean individual then that is your place!

awesome people
i use to live in oceanside just moved back to bend oregon . but one of my fondest memories of oceanside is the ozone everyone there was really nice and reminded me of my home bar so i want to say if you want to go somewhere in oceanside and you are in your early 20s go there they are awesome . the staff is wonderful.

SO I HAVE BEEN TO THE OZONE ONE TIME AND HAD A BLAST SO ME AND MY GIRLS ARE GOING BACK TONIGHT SO BE READY BECAUSE ITS PARTY TIME!!!!!!

WELL MY NAME IS DAVID I'M A NEW BOUNCER AT THE OZONE AND THE PROBLEM WITH THE BOUNCER I WILL CHANGE I PROMISE. I'M COMING THERE TO HELP THAT PROBLEM, I DON'T WON'T ANYBODY TO BE AFRAID STEPING IN THIS FACILITY SO PLEASE COME BACK AND TRY AGAIN.
ON ANOTHER NOTE THE PLACE IS GREAT FOR SPOT TO HAVE GOOD TIME.

Best bar in Oside.
What can I say? I am not a local , but the staff has gone above and beyond making me feel like I am .Everyone of them always has a smile and a hello for me when I walk in .I have never waited more than a minute or so for a beer and they know what I am going to order as soon as I walk up .No one is causing drama or starting trouble with this tourist .The music box has a great selection of a wide variety of music ,and the tables have a true play on them .Sure it may not be my bar back home , but it is a nice place to be while I am here .

Nice prices and good ol' fashion fun
Had a wonderful time at the O-zone on Wednesday night. (ladies night) the bartender was the most attentive person at the bar!!!!
the drinks were just the right price and I loved the dj and the atmosphere, I give it a 10 star!!!
good job cleaning up the rusty spur!

Not bad
They've taken out one of the pool tables from the last time I was here so expect long lines if you're looking for a game of 8-ball. The DJ on Saturday nights is decent - not quite (by a long shot) San Diego but if you're a local you know not to expect too much 'club' in Oceanside. Not too fond of the bouncers - they're a bit more thuggy than other bars but the Spur used to have a reputation as being a little unsavory so I guess thats to be expected.
