Worked as corporate officer and union employee, such jobs as railroad fireman, railroad engineer, railroad conductor and management jobs consisted of train master, road foreman of engines and safety engineer. Started my career at the age of 17 as a railroad fireman in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1955 and retired in 2002. Grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, attended the University of Nebraska, and transferred to California in 1966.
