• Promoted secretly negotiated “sweetheart” deals seeking to sell off city assets at below-market values.
• Jeopardized city finances by approving exorbitant pay and benefit increases in exchange for their political muscle and monetary donations.
• Endangered public safety by eliminating necessary roadways, slowing emergency response times.
• Encouraged continued gang violence by blocking funding for a successful, local faith-based group that mentors high-risk youth.
