Oceanside Real Estate

Nestled along the beautiful Pacific Ocean, Oceanside California is located 30 minutes north of San Diego and about an hour and a half south of Los Angeles. While sharing the beautiful beaches and perfect climate of its better known neighbor to the south, Oceanside's character is much more laid back, with many multi-generational families and a broad mix of residents, from vacationers to retirees. Average home prices in Oceanside vary widely depending on location.

Oceanside Zip Codes

Beachfront living, due to its high desirability, is generally more expensive than inland locations, with condos and homes in close proximity to the Oceanside beaches commanding up to millions of dollars - this area is generally within the 92054 zip code, which also includes Oceanside's boutique downtown area. Somewhat less expensive housing (but still enjoying the full benefits of Oceanside's amazingly temperate clime) can be found in the 92057 and 92058 zip codes (generally north Oceanside, often abutting Camp Pendleton's southern border) or the 92056 (east Oceanside, near Vista).
